What is Raider Friday?
Raider Friday is a fan-driven nonprofit built on the values of inclusion, unity, and kindness.
Fueled by passion and supported entirely by fans, booster clubs, and community sponsors, Raider Friday exists to give back and lift up the next generation. We are proud to share that Raider Friday has officially received 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. All donations are now tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law (please consult your tax advisor for individual guidance).
Every dollar raised goes directly toward the event, enabling us to provide a shirt to every child at no cost to their families, fund school supplies, giveaways, and bring the full Raider Friday experience to life. We recognize that not every family can afford spirit wear, and this initiative ensures that every student feels seen, included, and celebrated when Raider Friday arrives at their school.
While only one school is selected each season as the official host school, we are committed to celebrating all schools that apply. This year, four additional campuses will receive surprise visits, student giveaways, and a boost of Raider Friday spirit. Our vision is to one day bring Raider Friday to every school, every week.
Our mission is simple: put a smile on every child’s face and create moments where kindness, friendship, and school pride take center stage. If just one child makes a new friend because they wore silver and black on Raider Friday, mission accomplished.
We dream big. We envision a city where every Friday during football season, Las Vegas lights up in silver and black, where the Raider spirit echoes from classrooms to street corners. Because let’s be honest: even fans of other teams crack a smile when someone yells out, “Raaaaiiiddders!”

Raider Friday is a fan-driven nonprofit rooted in three core values: unity, inclusion, and mental health awareness.
- Unity
Raider Friday brings together all corners of Raider Nation—whether you’re from Oakland, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas. No matter what fan club you rep, we are all one. We are the Raider Nation. And together, we wear silver and black every Friday during the Raiders' season to show our pride and support for one another.
- Inclusion
That first child’s experience showed us what Raider Friday could really be—a moment that helps every student feel seen. When they put on that Raider shirt, they weren’t different. They weren’t alone. They were part of something bigger. Raider Friday ensures that every child has spirit wear, at no cost to families, so no one is left out.
- Mental Health Awareness
In 2024, a student at Arturo Cambeiro Elementary put it all into words. They said the bracelet they received reminded them that their life mattered. They told the Raiders that the Friday shirt was their favorite outfit. They said the message to “be kind” helped them be a better friend.
That feedback confirmed what we already felt—Raider Friday is about mental and emotional well-being just as much as it is about football.
Today, Raider Friday is growing fast, but the mission remains simple:
